I also have some regrets when I look back at this past year.
So first, I would have stayed more on my mathematics course. Because I'm physics major, there are lots of aspect of physics related to math even higher algebra. Now I find the knowledge of math which I understand is not enough.
The second thing is that before I went to America, I should have visited some of my high school teachers, those who helped me a lot during that hard time, who encourage me that I'm the best one. I should have given everyone of them a hug!
Finally, I could have brought my saxophone to the university, although it's too heavy to bring it on the plane. If I did the thing, I could play it during the international fork fire, and perform music with one of my buddies who play clarinet in the college marching band.

3 Weeks
Through half year's preparation, I got my visa finally, which made me so happy. Then I started
thinking and started aspiration the wonderful life I would have in my first week. I thought I would
see a different color of sky, trees and rivers; I thought I would meet a lot of people, and I would talk
to them using English; I would like and enjoy American food, just because I always ate west food
when I was in my country.
However, the night before the day that we should get off the airplane, I got a acute fever, which is
unexpected to me. And even though I ate a lots of medicine, the fever still not gone. My mom
wondered if I should go to the airport or not to go. I said I must go. So, the first week in UW-Eau Claire, I tided over in a big mess: Stay in bed almost 7 days per week. And because of we
arrived still in the summer holiday, 1 week before the college was open, so I did not saw many
people , let alone speak English to people. That is to say, I totally immersed in the pain of my disease.
And one thing which matchs my expectation is the nature, it is so beautiful, even in our campus.
I did see a different color of sky, trees and rivers from China.
Talk about the expectations about next week, I think, Life is likes a box of chocolate, you'll never
know what you're going to get. I just want it fills more exciting, more substantial. I also want to
make more friends and do my best in my classes. So, God bless.
